The world is made of cycles and here we are at the end of a cycle of time. It's in agreement that time cycles every 5,125 years. The present cycle began in 3114 BC and will end on 12 21 2012. There's been much written about the Mayan calendar stopping at the end of 2012 and the belief that what will happen afterward is unknown. The general consensus is that 2011-2012 is a transition time, physically and metaphorically speaking. Which means, that the darkest part of our world cycle is now. It is a final burning off of what is no longer needed, what doesn't serve us; fear and anger.
All I have gone through in my own life to hold my balance and replace fear with hope was in preparation for this journey of awakening which was incredibly challenging. I'm sure now that this has all been in preparation for this time, for I am among most of you that know we are the wave of the first group, those that have responded to the call of clearing our lives of negativity, transforming to love, so that we are able to hold the energy shift taking place on our planet and help guide those coming up behind us.
Duality is balance, darkness and light. Yet, overwhelming fear, fear of change, fear of living in the question, any fear or anger- throws off the balance. Let it go. If you are exposed to someone in your life that still carries anger, bitterness, regret, it is important to walk away. Bless them, send love and light. Now, more then ever before, the purity of your body must remain.
As we move into this transition time we know this, as the end of one cycle comes near, the beginning of something new is imminent. The first year of a new cycle of time.
The number one reflects the concept of Oneness.
New beginnings.
It is a Master number.
The number 11 carries the energy of balance. Male and Female. Equality. The energy of this year began with 01/01/11 and then today, 01/11/11 is an activation day, an opening of a portal. A lighting of a flame that will burn until 11/11/11 when the portal is fully open welcoming in the final moments of this cycle. I've been told that there has never been a time such as now. Some are still currently deciding whether to stay or leave the planet. The shifting energy of those that choose to stay will be filled with the light of Christ that has never been as bright.

Beautifully stated. Interestingly enough 11 is the first of the master numbers. I have been taught that it is the mastery of addiction (addiction in all forms, not just substances). It is a three pronged process; first, the addiction, second, mandatory spiritual awakening and third, facilitation. What occurs to me is that we live in a culture that is highly addicted, to substances, media, consumerism, etc. This year of release and balance is essential. The letting go of these attachments is what the journey requires. I guess it is being in this world but not of it. As the heart opens, so do the hands; the flow is moving, untethered, the cycle in motion.
When I looked outside this morning and saw another foot of snow, in all its purity, I felt overwhelmed by the beauty. Then I read your blog and it goes hand in hand. Thanks, Lynne.

What amazes me is the intelligence of the "people" of this planet that have come before us. The Aztec and the Maya peoples, the Hopi elders, all recount stories past down of this world's cycles of nature predicting throughout time all that actually occurred. Only now through archeological and technology do we agree with what they told us- that we are in the fourth world, moving into the fifth.
Each world is approximately 5,125 years in length. They said first world of people on this planet was 20,000 years ago and was destroyed by fire-earthquakes and the sinking of continents. This has now been confirmed scientifically, archaeologists discovered an advanced civilization located in the Indus River valley between what is now India and Pakistan.
The second by ice (the ice age about 11,000 years ago), and the third world destroyed is believed to be the well known biblical flood-water.
Each of these preceding worlds concluded with a great cataclysm that we have come to confirm in the science world from ocean sediment and polar ice cores.
This fourth cycle, what we are in now, will be the first "world" that does not end in cataclysm, but moves into the next with more hope, more love and more light then ever seen here before. A fact that fills my heart with powerful Joy!
(Global warming, changes in nature, severe weather are all natural part of the Earth's process. It's funny to me how many think myopically that we in any way have or could cause these things.)

When it all opens up again, when the "transformation" occurs, it would seem to still pose the wordly challenge of living in this world.
And is it fair to say, when you say Christ, you are just referring to one religion's use of language for something rather bigger than language?
Like a lot of what you write, but I do have another question.
Is it really funny to think we assume we may have something to do with some of the natural processes of the earth? Are we not part of that process?

~Great information at a very important time. Thank you for sharing. I often see 111 or 1111 and use it as a reminder to monitor my thoughts and ensure they reflect what I truly wish to create. I think of the 11 as the two pillars of a gateway and on the other side lies what I am creating now with my thoughts and feelings. I see this time as a period where we can pay extra attention to what we are creating as we go through this shift. So glad I have beings like you to light the way!

Being limited to using words, I feel it's safe to write my belief that there is a challenge to living in this world only if you believe it to be so. If history is correct then "Transformation" is always taking place, as each moment everything is not as it was a moment before or a moment after.
Yes, we are all part of that process, yet we don't drive it, which is obviously a greater process then we can even imagine.

I am surprised at the amount of people that say that the number 11 is in their face constantly,ie when they look at the clock it so often says 11:11. Given the understanding that patterns are relevant, thank you and Roie for adding more of an understanding on the geometry of that number.
